The PC-60NW is an oximeter that specializes in measuring blood oxygen data in infants. It utilizes a foot-strap measurement method that provides more comfort to the infant and provides more accurate data.
Proper placement on either foot
1.Place the sensors on the outside of the foot behind the pinky toe. Make sure the sensor touch the skin closely , then secure the foot wrap with Velcro, don’t over tighten.
2.Use the ankle wrap to secure the sensor cable on the ankle or leg, don’t over tighten. Make sure there is arterial blood capillary (with artery
pulse) and bone (for light scattering) within the light path between the opto-emitting and receiving parts. so that the measurement will be effective.
